Guitar Guru

Arguably one of the greatest guitarist the rock industry, Randall William Rhoads influences were rooted in classical music; as well as folk music. Randy first started guitar work at a very early age, and along with playing bass, he fell in love with rock music.
In his teens, Randy played in various bands & eventually would form the heavy metal act called Quiet Riot. While in the band, he was given the opportunity to audition for the legendary Black Sabbath vocalist, Ozzy Osbourne who was assembling a band for his own solo act.
It was while with the Osbourne band, which showcased the young Randy at his most fantastic. His fast riffs & loud, brutal solo's were heart pounding & magnificent to listen to.  The sounds of legends like Tony Iommi, Ritchie Blackmore and others of that style were taken to the next level by Randy.
Sadly for the rock world, Randy's life was cut short far too early in a horrible plane crash. He is missed by friend and loved ones to be sure, but his talent is also sorely missed. The sound of his guitar will echo for many years to come.
