John Alec Entwistle, who died of a heart attack in a hotel in Las Vegas, leaves behind a legacy that will last for generations
long to come. An intresting thing about John, according to an Associated Press report on his untimely death, was that
he seemed to be an anchor in the band. Not only with his bass playing, but according to the article, he was also an
anchor for his band mates as well. Not as flashy as Roger Daltry, or all over the stage as Pete Townshend, or as wild
as legendary drummer Keith Moon, John's bass playing was non the less among the best in the rock world. The Who of course,
helped set the stage for many rock artists throughout the years, and John Entwistle will be sorely missed.
